My client is an extremely well-known business within the commercial construction arena, the company has been a thriving operation for decades and they have gone from strength to strength over recent years due to aggressive horizontal and vertical growth. The business has secured some extremely lucrative projects in their time and have earned an exceptional reputation for themselves, The business have traditionally focused on vertical construction however are beginning to expand into other markets.
Position
This senior level sales role within the business will work closely with the internal business development team to assist in helping win new projects and manage them through to delivery; You will be involved in new project acquisition however the initial ground work will be handled by an internal sales function. Ideally the business would find someone who is proficient in both business development and account management however due to the volume of work they need a strong relationship person with solid closing skills. The role takes an autonomous function and you have the ability to work from home or in the office pending on where your month is at. You’ll work along side the state management team and the bulk of your day to day activities will be onsite or spent with your clients.
On offer is a lucrative salary of up to $100,000 for the right individual, plus an entirely uncapped commission structure however to be conservative you can bank on earning at least $50,000 per annum. There’s a new fully maintained company vehicle included with this role along with all your tolls, fuel and other expenses.
Candidate
The ideal individual for this role will be someone who is truly a good operator - Great communication skills, Good understanding of the building and construction arena, Existing relationships with contractors, Someone who can articulate on their CV their achievements and what projects they’ve been involved with and last but not least, someone who takes a proactive approach to selling.
