What you will be doing:

Your role as Business Development Manager will be focussed on the sale of commercial furniture to a range of Designers, Architects, Project Managers, procurement teams and corporate end users. You will spend a large amount of time out on the road visiting clients with the aim of getting your furniture specified into a range of different projects and refurbishments.

Who you will be doing it for:

You will be working for a dynamic and innovative company within commercial furniture space. They design and manufacture high-end tables, sofas, lamps, chairs, ottomans, stools and accessories. This company prides itself on their reputation for building strong relationships and having a friendly, innovative and collaborative company culture.

What you must have to apply for this role:

  • Proven success exceeding targets
  • Existing networks within architecture and design or end users, ideally in the education or healthcare industries
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Drive, enthusiasm and the ability to build rapport easily
  • Previous sales experience working for a furniture manufacturer or reseller
  • Educational qualifications in design or business-related fields
