Today, you’ll see Laminex on surfaces everywhere you look - be it hospitals, shopping centres, restaurants or your home. We manufacture and procure a broad range of products for commercial and residential use such as laminate, engineered stone and veneers so that all Australians can live in beautiful, practical spaces.

The Opportunity

Our branch in Wodonga has seen record sales growth and we have an impressive pipeline of work coming up. Available due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a Branch Manager to join our team, responsible for continuing the great work of leading, managing and running our Wodonga site.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving sales with customers, overseeing the warehouse, leading the showroom and managing growth objectives. Day to day, this will include:

Developing and implementing tactical sales plans to achieve regional sales and margin targets, and increase market penetration and share of wallet growth
Balancing both strategic long term and short-term functional priorities
Managing P&L and expenditure whilst developing strategies to maximise branch profitability
Overseeing the warehouse, deliveries and inventory levels
Coaching and guiding staff to uphold a high level of customer service and relations
Supporting professional development and driving a positive EHS culture

Your Background

In order to hit the ground running, you’ll have the following skills and experience:

A successful track record in leadership, staff management, sales and operations management
Demonstrated ability to lead a team of similar size in terms of staff and revenue
Financial management understanding
Sales management training in an accredited program
Strong commercial acumen
