My client is a European based, high-end building products supplier that has globally renowned product and has already established itself as a leader in Australia. This role is critical for the continual growth and development of the company’s expansion plans. They continue to introduce new and innovative products to gain further market share within Australia as well as branching into new markets overseas to grow the brand internationally.
 
Role
As the Sydney Showroom & Events Coordinator your primary responsibility is to be the face of the business for all things showroom related at Alexandria. You will take ownership of the brand new space ensuring the highest levels presentation and customer service at all times. You will play a critical role in support for the company, Director and sales team in terms of administration and sales. You will also be involved in organising all types of events for clients so experience with this is highly desired.

Skills & Experience 
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:  

  • Strong presentation skills and ambitious & outgoing personality
  • Previous showroom sales/customer service experience is essential
  • Events management experience will be highly regarded
  • Experience in Stone or kitchens is also highly desired
  • Proven track record in sales/customer service and over achieving on expectations
  • A good understanding of the construction industry
  • Industry relevant qualifications will be highly regarded
  • High degree of energy, self motivation and desire to be rewarded with your hard efforts
  • Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long term career role
