About the role

As part of our sales team and to ensure that we maximise our strategic growth plans in the Greater Brisbane region, the successful candidates will work closely with the team to support operational excellence and achieve key sales objectives. With a focus on enhancing the Drake brand and securing new business opportunities for the Drake business units, you will be an influential and respected face of the business. Through planned calling activity and marketing strategies you have the opportunity to identify the various HR challenges and issues confronting organisations; and then, drawing on the extensive Drake suite of HR services and products (including perm and temp recruitment), identify and implement solutions appropriate to specific client needs. Using your business development experience to generate a strong pipeline you will differentiate our sales offering to convert into new business.

In order to thrive in this role the following attributes are highly valued:

  • Proven business development/sales ability and the results to back up a track record of success
  • Previous experience within the recruitment industry preferred but not essential
  • Strategic business awareness
  • Strong attention to detail Increasing market share with target key accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills in order to communicate with clients and draft proposals
  • Supporting the recruitment team

Your previous direct business to business sales experience, professionalism, sound business acumen and ability to relate to people at all levels, together with your strong work ethic and desire to succeed will hold you in good stead for this interesting and rewarding position.
