We are a successful, privately held Australian company in the commercial cleaning industry with a presence throughout Australia. The Victorian office is currently seeking a Sales Representative to increase market share, develop new customers and expand on the already significant client base.

As a critical member of the organisation, your primary responsibility will be driving sustainable financial growth through increasing the company’s sales, market share and forging strong relationships with clients.  You will also be working closely with the Operational Team to ensure deliverables are met and that new clients receive a quality service.

Key tasks include:

• Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
• Analyse existing/potential customer needs
• Present, promote and sell services to existing and prospective customers
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Track sales and provide status reports
• Keep abreast of best practices in market and communicate trends back to the business

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience with many of the following:

• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Comfort with picking up the phone or walking into new businesses to win customers
• Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients
• Knowledge and experience with tender submission writing in both private and Government sectors
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Success working autonomously out on the road
• Strong consultative selling skills including presenting, persuading, negotiating and closing
• Knowledge of the commercial cleaning industry will be very highly regarded

As a Sales Professional travel will be expected as you will be out on the road developing new business. Your territory will not be defined as we are a National Company seeking opportunities throughout Australia.
