The Role
A rare opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced sales professional to join LPG industry leader Elgas in Western Victoria. Based in Geelong, the Regional Sales Managers role is an opportunity to lead an experienced sales team in delivering customer and organisational objectives. This management position offers excellent remuneration, real career progression opportunities and on-going training and development.

Reporting to the Regional Manager your main responsibilities will include:
• Providing sales leadership throughout the region; lead by example, deliver on retention objectives and secure individual new business targets;
• On-going management of key accounts (individual) and leadership of an experienced sales team (including setting objectives, managing performance and mapping individual development)
• Direct financial responsibility (revenue) including budgeting, growth planning & execution and monthly performance measurement
• Leading and supporting complex negotiations, dealing with customer objections, customer retention targets and site installation compliance and safety;
• Cross functional relationship management
• Representing Elgas in various industry body events and obtain referrals for new business;
• Ensuring seamless sales administration and maximising sales team productivity

The Candidate
To be successful in this position you will have;
• A minimum of 5 years field sales experience with an emphasis on key commercial customer management (strong technical experience preferred)
• Excellent commercial acumen and proven experience in contract negotiation and completion
• Experience in managing staff with a proven ability to lead and develop a successful team
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal abilities
