A rare and exciting opportunity has just become available with a niche provider of products and services to a varied client base. This organisation has built a reputation for innovative products and excellent customer service and are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Melbourne team.
As a Business Development Manager in this organisation, you will be instrumental in driving sales through existing and new customers whilst also seeking to set up sales channels and distributers, where opportunities arise.
More specifically the role will see you strategically working with your peers, in identifying and mapping target organisations and then approaching them accordingly, whilst all the time building rapport and relationships, that will ultimately lead to business opportunities.
To be successful in this role it is expected that you have come from a similar background as a proven hands-on B2B sales professional, have experience with developing sales systems and have the drive to improve sales targets.
A background in selling manual handling, safety or industrial products will be highly regarded.
Furthermore, you will need to have strong communication skills and attention to detail.
