The Role
Commercially astute and highly driven, the role Sales Representative will see you act as a key technical advisor & product demonstrator to the decorative coatings industry in the South East. This position will require you to manage and develop new and existing customers, with a strong emphasis on identifying growth areas and cross-selling opportunities across the Textures coatings and render product range. Strong working knowledge of the building and construction market will help you create long lasting professional relationships with customers, key decision makers or influencers.
You will have the skills to relate to a diverse range of customers including the trowel trade, wall cladding & roof coating segments of the industry, as well as builders in the residential housing and commercial markets. Your typical customer will be down to earth and will want someone who can deliver what they say.
You will report to the State Sales Manager and ensure all agreed State and National activity is executed to a high standard.
The Essential Criteria
- Experience in a high performing territory management role, achieve sales and develop new business
- Ability to deal with technical and trade related enquiries and problem solving skills
- Proactive with strong communication and relationship building track record
- Well-developed organizational, planning and time management skills;
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team or individually;
- Sound computer skills including MS Office and CRM systems.
