The Role

The Lead Generation and Customer Services Consultant's role is to achieve project and customer leads and develop these leads to the specification stage ready to be actioned by the sales team.  To be successful in this role you are a natural at connecting and engaging with potential Architects and Designers.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role works closely with the Sales Team and the Customer.  The role is flexible (30-37.5 hours) to help support your personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the pipeline of projects to generate opportunities and develop them into fully qualified leads and enter them into the CRM. This process requires tenacious phoning of architects, designers and sometimes developers, project managers and builders
  • As the customer services contact you will also be the go to person for all architects and designers that phone or email enquiries and are wanting technical assistance, samples, and general enquiries
  • Back up for external architectural consultants by sending out draft specs, samples etc.

Experience and Skills 

  • 2+ years success in a lead generation environment and /or customer service role
  • Proven great communicator, highly motivated, driven and have great customer focus and relationship building skills
  • Experience working with Architects and Interior Designers and Construction/Building industry experience preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn product knowledge including some technical details
  • Experience with CRM systems, Cordell is an advantage
  • Great team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
