We are Wollongong based air pollution control company which specialises in the field of gas, vapour and particulate emissions control. Currently, an opportunity exists for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join a small team which delivers and services air pollution control equipment both within Australia and South East Asia. Ideally, the BDM will be based in Queensland (preferably Brisbane area) and will be required to work out of their own premise. Most of the work undertaken will consists in the development of new clientele in the Queensland and Northern NSW region. The BDM will work closely with other regional BDM to (but not limited to):
- Seek opportunities with new and existing clients in Queensland and Northern NSW’s region
- Working with technical staff to submit proposals and tendering packages
- Maintaining existing client relationships and developing new client relationships
- Maintaining the companies CRM to capture all opportunities and leads
The successful candidate will be an experience BDM with proven sales record in the heavy industry as well as oil and gas industry. The focus will be in the pollution and odour control industry. Broad knowledge and understanding of air pollution industry such as ESP and dust collectors will be highly regarded. It will be advantageous to have a portfolio of existing clients in the heavy industry and oil & gas industry.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player with an understanding of business management and sales principals. Candidate with high level interpersonal, effective communication skills and a second language is highly regarded.
