A Lead Research and Events Manager is sought after to join the sales team in a growing organisation in the architectural and building products industry. With a growing list of Architectural Firms, Designers as well as Builders and Developers on their regular client list, this is an amazing opportunity to join the team and contribute to their on-going success.
This role is responsible for developing the sales pipeline for the Sales Team through researching and coordinating sales strategies, monitoring projects and influencing existing and potential clients. Your successful management of client relationships will ensure client retention for future projects.
Duties will include:
- Identifying opportunities and creating new projects from prospective and existing clients
- Arranging project meetings for the sales consultants with architects, interior designers and builders to assist with the creation of new projects
- Arranging product presentations for the sales team nationally
- Managing the sales pipeline, action plans and keeping up to date with project stage, estimated close date etc.
- Attend to client needs via emails and phone calls
- Proactively maintaining positive relationships with clients and potential clients through call outs and events
To be successful in this role you must:
- have proven experience in a sales, customer service or outbound sales role
- be a self starter who is persistent and results driven with a strong business acumen
- have strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to present ideas
- be highly customer focused with an ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients
