Located in northern Tasmania this is a great opportunity for an experienced technical sales person to get in on the ground floor and help build and expand our current business operations in Tasmania.
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team in our Tasmanian operations. The ideal candidate will have strong pneumatic / hydraulic parts and process background. You must be able to demonstrate with ease your understanding of technical sales at the interview stage. You must have a current Australian driver's license.
You will be able to demonstrate your market knowledge and technical competency as well as give examples of your ability to liaise with internal clients, external customers and company management.
To apply you must be an Australian citizen or have residency within Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting sales targets
- Working in a manner that is safe and productive
- Recognising and recommending solutions to fluid power and engineering problems
- Self-motivated and goal orientated
- Represent the company in front of key clients
- Develop new clients and maintain client database
Required qualifications and skills:
- Mechanical trade qualified (fitter, fitter machinist, heavy mechanic) or engineering degree
- Current Australian Driver's Licence essential
- Demonstrated experience in a similar technical sales field
- Demonstrate sound computer knowledge in word and excel.
