My client has been operating for over 15 years now and is considered to be one of the industry's premier companies. They specialise in laser cutting and fabrication services offering "state of the art" technology to meet the industries increasing demands of highest quality standards. Their complete range of finishing services also assist in guiding projects from concept to completion.
Due to growth, a position is now available for an internal sales person with sales fabrication background to join their team based in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs.
Role
- Internal Technical Sales ( Laser Fabrication )
You will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound technical sales enquiries via phone or email.
The role requires you to be prompt, efficient and knowledgeable of the companies products and service offerings to ensure customers are looked after sufficiently. Assist with demonstrations, reading drawings, data input and quoting.
It is the internal sales persons responsibility to educate the customer of new product offerings, demonstrations and upsell/ cross sell where required to ensure the customer has the best solution for their need.
Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following skill set;
- ABSOLUTE MUST Internal technical sales experience within laser fabrication/ sheet metal and or laser cutting market
- Proficient computer skills
- Technical aptitude
- Can work with millimetres and centimetres
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
- Prepare a quotation for manufacturing including all processes such as cutting, folding, welding, powder coating etc.
- Strong Customer service skills
- ITMS or other MRP software experience (highly regarded)
- Technical qualifications within fabrication. Sheet metal and or laser cutting
- Own car
- Able to work in Melbourne's South eastern suburbs.
Salary
