We are an 18 month old company with a young, passionate, and innovative executive team, which has successfully won a number of major UAS contracts. This Opportunity:

The National Sales & Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for taking our existing direct and channel based sales activities to the next level. The appointee will have a significant input into the development of marketing collateral to support sales growth. We have already experienced strong sales success on the East Coast of Australia and are looking to deepen those efforts and to broaden our penetration on a National level. Further to this we will prioritise experience in UK and US markets. There will be an emphasis on growing the JAR Education business to capitalise on our initial success.
You will report to the CEO.

Prime Responsibilities for this position:

  • Further develop our sales strategy and processes to achieve stretch sales targets.
  • Elevate existing pipeline and customer relationship management systems to grow the business.
  • Develop improved customer relations and deepen existing sales relationships.
  • Manage and expand the existing salesforce to grow the business across JAR Education and JAR Aerospace.
  • Manage channel sales activities to maximise value for JAR and our customers.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Sales management experience including a focus on driving sales results and business development experience which identifies and converts opportunities into the future. Your strong sales leadership skills will be needed to develop internal resources and relate to senior executives in order to convert major sales opportunities. You must be able to build and demonstrate credibility with JAR people and customers who have a strong technological orientation.

To be successful you must have:

  • At least five successful years’ sales management experience, including both channel and direct sales.
  • A proven track record of success in selling Educational programs which are curriculum compliant and are STEM related.
  • The ability to sell technologically oriented solutions.
  • A proven track record selling to large organisations.
  • Problem solving skills  - agile and commercially smart solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

  • Requisite experience is critical, tertiary qalifications will be well regarded.
