We have an exciting Parental Leave cover opportunity for an energetic Customer Business Manager in our Convenience and Specialty team.

You will proactively manage a select number of National Convenience accounts to attain profitable sales growth by developing and executing account-specific growth initiatives.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and growing existing key accounts in line with the respective channel plans.
  • Identifying, developing and executing new commercial opportunities within the channels.
  • Conducting business reviews with key accounts to identify challenges and opportunities and present forthcoming category plans as a strategic partner.
  • Achieving agreed on targets with key customers.
  • Building strong relationships with strategic accounts.

Required skills and experience:

  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong account management or field sales experience with a branded consumer goods business.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical capability.
  • Ability to identify, pitch and secure new business and large volume accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to negotiate key decisions.
  • Track record of building profitable relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Hands-on approach.
  • Ability to demonstrate and live our values.

A tertiary qualification in a related discipline is highly preferred but not mandatory.
