About the Role
Our client is now seeking a driven and hungry sales professional to join their sales team covering a broad territory throughout Northern NSW. You will be required to manage existing clients aswell as build new clients and will be willing to travel in this role. With the flexibility of being home based, from Newcastle, Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour; when out in the field your territory will see you looking after valued clients across the NSW Central Coast to Byron, and out to Armidale and Tamworth in the West. There will be an initial requirement to spend some time in Orange within the first few months in order to gain an understanding of the business and build rapport with the team.
  
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Meeting specified targets and KPIs within your territory and reporting to the National Sales Manager
  • Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities to achieve sales growth
  • Maintaining product knowledge to ensure a consultative and through level of service
  • Travel throughout a broad territory
  • Managing existing accounts
  • Ensuring consistent follow up with clients
  • Some time spent in Orange is a requirement of this role

To be successful for this role you must have the following:
  • Industry & product knowledge specific to the plumbing/water management sector, or a related/transferable industry.
  • 3-4 years experienced in a sales/business development role
  • Proven ability to meet KPI’s and targets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent written communication
  • Proven ability to self-manage and be self-disciplined
  • Team focused
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Demonstrated ability to be driven towards strong results
