An excellent career opportunity exists for a highly commercial and customer focused Account Manager to manage a portfolio of customers in the Northern NSW region. You will be primary liaison point for your customers, responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver corporate and industrial workwear uniform solutions to your clients. You will also play a key role in growing our business by winning new customers and bringing them into your portfolio.

This is an account management role based in our Newcastle office. It requires an intimate knowledge and understanding of the customer and their uniform program requirements. You will achieve this through conducting quarterly and annual strategic reviews to better understand the client objectives; providing expert advice around their uniform range; implementing initiatives to improve service delivery; pricing and margin management; and above all, providing top notch customer service.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing relationships and contracts with key accounts, via email, phone, branch and field visits on a regular cyclical schedule, as well as ad hoc when required, and ensuring high service standards
  • Forecasting, KPI reporting, pricing and margin management
  • Prospecting for new business – engaging potential customers, presenting solutions, conducting negotiations and implementing contracts as required

As the successful applicant you will possess strong Account Management expertise. Having previous experience managing SME and government accounts within apparel would be highly advantageous, however it will be your ability to thrive in a changing environment and passion to build strong customer relationships that will see you excel in this opportunity. You will need outstanding negotiation and communication skills as well as be able to maximise the most out of every opportunity.

Provide us with the above skills and experience and we will reward you with a range of employee benefits including; a competitive salary, a wide range of employee discounts and a safe, clean and supportive working environment.
