We Are: 

A National Campion In Advanced Pumping Technologies, specialising in Engineered Solutions for Mining, Manufacturing & Heavy Industry. With massive multimillion dollar investments in R&D internationally my client showcase a range of Engineering Pump Solutions for the toughest industry requirements. Due to the massive success of the business Nationally, we are now seeking the Talents of a Regional Manager for Queensland. 

The Role: 

2018 has opened up an exclusive opportunity for a Manager, due to expansion. We require a self starter to run the Queensland office and to take over the reins and take over a successful portfolio of accounts while seeking out new opportunities for business. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work Autonomously.
  • Provide Slurry, Diaphragm, Drive, Peristaltic & Submersible Pumping Solutions. 
  • Call on Mining, Civil, Municipal & Processing Industry Key Accounts maintaining & developing existing relationships across Queensland. 
  • Develop new business. 
  • Utilise your contact base and knowledge, create a strategic plan for your region. 
  • Provide technical advice and presentations to Engineers and Project Managers. 
  • Maintain the obvious job functions of high performing sales professional and hold yourself to a high standard to get the most out of yourself and clients. 
  • Strategically develop plans for new business.
  • Leadership, Team Management, Sales.  
  • Create weekly sales reports. 
  • Travel internationally to suppliers and meet external stakeholders. 

The Candidate: 

  • You will be a strategic new business hunter with a strong technical acumen.
  • You will be passionate about people and have a positive outlook on life. 
  • A minimum of 5 + years Area Management / Sales Experience in Queensland.
  • You will have 5 + years Pump Experience or related products (spares, coatings, pump service) to the Mining & Process Industries in Queensland.  
  • You will have experience working autonomously and you can effectively self manage. 
  • You will have strong contract negotiation and closing skills, you know you are a strong sales person. 
  • You will desire a long-term role with many opportunities for advancement.
  • You are professional, polished and seek a long-term commercial role in which your stability ultimately relies on your performance. 

The Rewards:

Our Business Development Manager can expect a base salary of $110,000 - $135,000 + Super + Car + Bonus (OTE 200K +). This will be renegotiated based on your performance in the role. You will be joining the company at a very exciting time the business is experiencing steady growth and therefore these early stages of success will put you as a front runner for promotions as the business continues to grow.
