Our Club General Managers oversee all aspects of club operations, requiring strong financial acumen, analytical and management expertise. We appoint managers who appreciate and value great customer service, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, sales and communication capabilities. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Fountain Gate club; one of the largest in the State, and therefore, has considerable accountability and seniority in the South Region. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, this role entails the full scope of operational responsibility, managing the financial performance of the club. You will be a consummate leader who can completely manage and oversee:

  • Goodlife Initiatives and Programs

  • Overseeing Customer Service

  • Recruiting and Training

  • People Leadership

  • Financial Performance

  • Budget Management

  • Sales and Memberships

  • Compliance, Reporting and Administration

  • Club Marketing and Advertising

 

Experience and Attributes

2-5 years' experience managing large multidisciplinary teams within fitness and sales in a similar business is preferable. It is essential that you have experience managing budgets, using sales systems, CRM's, reporting and management skills. We also require a current First Aid and CPR certificate.

You must be able to motivate and engage your staff, lead from the front, ready and willing to assist your teams and achieve the goals of the business.
