Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of premium electrical products; a highly respected brand and leader in their market categories.
On their behalf, we are looking to recruit a bright, ambitious and highly motivated sales professional to join their NSW team as a Wholesale Representative.
Part of the professional respected team, you will be tasked with developing profitable business relationships across a portfolio of accounts including electrical wholesalers / resellers / fire protection.
To be considered you must be able to demonstrate stable work experience, with an electrical background and ideally some electrical wholesale experience.
Some electrical industry/product knowledge is essential, along with demonstrable negotiation skills, verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills and influencing ability are essential.
In securing this career opportunity your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and grow a successful portfolio of existing valued customers
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers;
- Provide technical product advise;
- Develop profitable long term relationships with new and existing customers;
- Working closely with key client influencers to increase number of product offering;
- Work closely with the local team to ensure sharing of information on current and shared projects;
- Reporting on market and competitor activity via CRM system and team meetings;
- Timely submission of regular reports;
- Annual setting of revenue, profitability and expenditure target with State Manager;
- Provide reliable and consistent first class customer service.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:
- An understanding of electrical products/electrical industry experience is essential;
- Electrical wholesale experience;
- The ability to develop and nurture effective business relationships;
- Sales and negotiation skills and experience;
- Excellent customer service skills and the drive to deliver first class customer service at all times;
- Excellent time management and planning skills;
- Commercial acumen;
- Strong numerical and analytical skills;
- Self-motivated and energetic with a positive outlook;
- A good level of PC Skills including MS Excel.
In this role you will drive market share growth and brand awareness into a variety industry contacts, so it is essential you are able to demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills. You must have a positive attitude, initiative and outstanding planning and organizing skills.
