Pointnext is currently recruiting for a driven Business Manager - Hybrid IT Services to be based in Sydney. This is a newly created role reporting into Pointnext Hybrid IT & Data Centre Manager & acting as the 2IC. This role has a laser focus on working with our strategic partners, direct sales & sales management team. Additionally this role will develop, manage & govern a range of sales & solution initiatives, developed to meet current & future market demand across both Advisory & Professional Services & Operational & Consumption Services.
Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Achievement of group order/revenue margin targets
- Pipeline development & management with a focus on pipeline shape + funnel management, development of engagement techniques to drive early stage pipeline & deploying strategies to progress through to late stage pipe & ultimately deal closure
- Operational hygiene & reporting leveraging SFDC & report via dashboard on key metrics
- Analysis of install base for upsell/cross sell opportunities including land/expand strategies
- Identification of market opportunities & demand, feeding into strategic planning & cap/cap
- Provide thought leadership focused on business issues, evolving market & customer industry trends, HPE & partner strategic capabilities & the link to customer business outcomes
- Development of actionable/executable plans to build the business
- Partner/Alliance Management - build strong professional relationships with key IT & LOB executives across HPE & partner landscape
- Customer & event presentation
Experience & Skills Required:-
- 8 years + experience in technical consultative selling/pre-sales or account management
- Broad knowledge of the industries, common problems, & customer’s needs
- Demonstrable success in demand generation/business development programs
- Experience in either project services or run services (operational outtasking/sourcing/maintenance/support services) highly regarded
- Ability to think strategically & interface with all levels of management
- Ability to negotiate sensitive resolution to complex business issues
- Ability to build consensus through demonstrated influencing skills
- Financial acumen to manage budgets & make good business decisions for the benefit of HPE
- Confident public speaker comfortable presenting
