Forest Drapery Hardware is a leading supplier of high quality and innovative Curtain Tracks, Rods and Drapery Hardware throughout Australia. A fantastic opportunity exists within our Batemans Bay Head Office for an experienced and proactive Sales Manager to provide leadership to the sales staff and continue to drive the company’s  growth in both NSW and Interstate locations.

The Key Responsibilities for this role are:

• Target new clients and channel the opportunities to the sales team.
• Assist the General Manager to control costs and maximise the profitability of the business.
• Ensure the sales and service team provide the necessary professionalism to secure the sales and expand the customer base.
• Create sales market opportunities for improvement.
• Drive sales via the sales team to ensure an increase in sales within the current customer base.
• Meet with new customers to discuss the product range.
• Participate in Trade Shows.
• Achieve the budget sales targets as set by the General Manager
• Review the marketing plans to ensure the sales  KPI’s will be achieved.
• Provide product and sales training support to the Sales Representatives.
• Other duties as directed by the General Manager.

To Be Successful in this role you must possess the following:

• Minimum of 5yrs previous experience in sales role.
• Proven sales results and strong leadership skills.
• Committed to travel visiting both Sydney and Interstate Customers
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Ability to multi task and work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail as accuracy is very important.
• Outgoing personality and you must be a team player.
