Our client is an innovative technology company that fuse the latest in software control with remote locking and fastening, environmental sensing technology.   They leverage IP and technology to deliver innovative solutions that help global enterprises build infrastructures, around the world.

The role

Due to continual growth and success, we are seeking a Sales Representative to be based in their Sydney CBD headquarters.  Reporting to the Global Sales Manager, you will be responsible for proactively and strategically developing new business opportunities through marketing to and understanding key stakeholders, with the capacity to influence thinking and selling “value” propositions. 

You will work in a team environment, with multi-disciplined technical professionals, collectively supporting you to meet/exceed monthly and quarterly sales performance goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Focused Sales and Business Development through lead generation and the entire sales life cycle
  • Collaborate with other Sales professionals and the technical teams on how to best position our client’s value proposition
  • Participating in tradeshows, networking and other sales events
  • To represent the Company professionally, knowledgeably and with credibility.

About you

You will be a professional, confident self-starter who is engaging, passionate and willing to go the “extra mile” to succeed. 

Attributes include:

  • At least two + years’ work experience in direct b2b sales experience from lead generation through to close, solution selling products in the Australian market.
  • Proven self-starter with a “sales hunter” mentality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Ability to present effectively and to communicate concepts to potential clients.
  • Professional, dedicated, committed, trustworthy and loyal.
  • Willingness to travel extensively >30%
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Formal qualifications in Business or Technology or Electronic/Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
