B.L. Shipway is the leading distributor of Fluid Power products in South Australia. A proudly South Australian owned and operated private company, they specialise in the manufacture, distribution and service of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and industrial hose and fittings.
We are currently seeking an energetic and customer focused individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a personable telephone manner and sound computing skills, to join our internal sales team at our Richmond branch. To be successful in this fast paced and challenging role, you will need to possess a self-motivated attitude and a strong work ethic.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Servicing customer counter enquiries and orders
- Follow up urgent and critical orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining the front counter displays
It is preferable that the successful candidate will have a background in hydraulics and pneumatics and experience in the Fluid Power industry. However, candidates that have similar work experience within the manufacturing, industrial or automotive sectors, and have a strong mechanical interest and aptitude, are also encouraged to apply.
