The primary purpose of this position is to establish and maintain key relationships with potential customers and win/close commercial energy efficiency and power quality projects. The candidate is expected to have a very good understanding of solar energy as well as a sound and broad understanding of all things electrical. The successful applicant must be prepared to be trained to sell other products and services within our range other than solar and the position is based out of our QLD office in Bethania, just south of Brisbane.

With a manufacturing facility based in Brisbane and head office based in Melbourne we service business on a Nation level. Our key focus is to help business reduce their energy usage and cost.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively and close deals with business executives, maintenance managers and CFO’s, but also work with all key customer decision makers and recommenders.
- Successful track record selling commercial solar projects, or similar sales activities. (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to spend time in-person with customers and travel if and when required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and prioritise competing demands.
- Independent and self-motivated with the ability to meet competing deadlines effectively.
- Problem solver who can accurately assess, solve, implement, and communicate solutions.
Position Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Sales of commercial scale solar systems, power factor correction, voltage optimisation, energy management software, active harmonic filters and help identify new opportunities that will help our customers save money and become more efficient within their business
- Expertise and efficient in lead generation and lead management
- Conduct mainly warm leads from existing database or partners, but you will also be expected to generate your own leads through channels agreed upon by Quality Energy
- Generate your own proposals
- Close contracts for solar projects ranging from 30kW – 1MW
- Work independently and with management team to develop and execute on strategic plans to win identified opportunities.
- Assist with identification of technical and material solutions to optimise system competitiveness.
- Lead project handover to Operations Team for closed business.
