Vinodirect is our direct sales team who work with some of Australia’s best wineries. We learn their philosophy, understand what makes them unique and become well acquainted with their wines to ensure that each each of their valued customers receives brilliant wine with outstanding service.

We’re on the hunt for unique personalities from all walks of life to bring their skills and experience to our team. If you’re looking for the flexibility of a casual role, can pick up and prioritise lots of detail in a fast-paced environment and can bond with strangers over their favourite vino – we want to hear from you!

 

The Ideal Vinodirect Broker

Vinodirect Brokers sell wine over the phone for a whole range of wineries, delivering detail on the wines and making notes on each customer to build excellent long-term customer relationships. You’re going to need sharp written & verbal communication skills, an ability to focus on the critical information within a larger conversation and the drive to nurture relationships with each customer.

Our team size fluctuates throughout the year and comes from a diverse range of backgrounds. Most of our team work 4-5 days each week, but if you are exceptionally organised and a great communicator you can change up your roster – we’re flexible for all our team who study, freelance or work a couple of different jobs.

To begin with, you need to be available at least 3 days each week – Monday-Friday 10am-6pm. Our starting date is flexible, so if you’re not available immediately but are keen we'd still love for you to get in touch and let us know you're out there!

 

What more could you bring to the table?

Customer Service Experience. Maybe you’ve worked the drive-through slinging burgers, or you’ve hosted silver service degustations at a chef-hatted restaurant. You may have been working customer service lines for a phone company, or maybe selling electricity plans door to door. Perhaps you ran your scout troop’s sausage sizzle at Bunnings. You know how to listen, meet your customer’s needs, go the extra mile and deliver a memorable experience.

Wine interest and passion. You don't need to be an expert, but you should at least know a chardonnay from a shiraz. We're here to inspire the world to drink good wine, so you should at least have a deep desire to learn about it, to develop your own vocabulary for it, and most importantly love talking about it.

Personality. No two wines are the same. No two drinkers are the same. No two wine brokers are the same. We want our team to be entirely authentic, unique, and fun. We don’t know what makes you special – we haven’t even met you yet so show us your personality and tell us what makes you a remarkable individual!
