Invertek Drives Pty Ltd is seeking to appoint a Variable Speed Drives Sales Specialist. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and will play a key role in helping to grow the product portfolio to support the company’s ambitious expansion plans. 

About you

As an experienced sales professional you will have a strong variable speed drives background. Your responsibilities are to grow sales from existing customers as well as develop new customers and markets. You will achieve this by completing regular customer visits, cold calling potential clients and meeting sales targets in order to grow the business.

This position is based out of our Head Office in Brisbane and reporting to the Managing Director.

 Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships and focus on growth that will lead to new business opportunities and growth for the business.
  • Prospect for and identify potential new clients and turn it into increased business. Cold call as appropriate to bring new customers in. 
  • Call planning and reporting through CRM.
  • Plan sales approaches and strategies.
  • Handle objections and working through differences to achieve a positive sales outcome.
  • Client retention.
  • You will report your successes and findings weekly via progress reports and sales meetings.

You will have:

  • Strong sales lead generation and conversion skills.
  • An ability to build and sustain relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A minimum of 5 year’s experience in customer facing sales role.
  • A minimum of 5 year’s experience within the VSD industry.
  • Sound call cycle planning skills. 
  • Ability to develop and manage sales.
  • Interpersonal, listening, questioning and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and close deals.
  • Sound product and market knowledge.
  • Ability to self-motivate and prioritise accordingly.
