Our client is a high-end manufacturer of sustainably manufactured interior acoustic fabrics, for the commercial and high end/exclusive residential markets. They have a high-end aesthetic design and are used for hospitality, commercial office and very high-end residential projects. They are looking to expand their sales team with the addition of a Specification Manager to secure specifications with tier 1 and 2 Architectural practices. This role has materialised through sustained growth in the Sydney market and the successful applicant will be joining a financially stable and growing business.

Covering the Sydney metro area this role is focused on winning specifications with Architects and Interior Designers for mid - premium projects. The diversity of the role will offer an opportunity to sell on an aesthetic, creative and commercial level depending on the application of the project. Day to day you will be calling on all the above contacts winning specifications which are then project managed to installation by another division of the sales team.  Due to the nature of the long sales cycle targets will be minimal in your first year to allow you to build your pipeline and develop the territory.

As an established sales professional, you will have a good understanding of solution selling and Account Management. You will be a comfortable presenter, a natural rapport builder and you will be looking to work for a company with strong brands and products you can really be proud of.  By playing the long game with your customers you will understand the importance of established and committed relationships. Our client can offer full training on the product range so whilst specification/ A&D experience is desirable our client places more emphasis on sales calibre, an eye for detail and your ability to apply your skill set to the role.
