About the role

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic Business Manager to join our highly driven, motivated and dedicated Totally Smiles team. As an integral part of our management group, key functions will be to develop and diversify business so that income increases, and the growth of a group portfolio within the Totally Smiles business are assured with short and long-term goals to achieve. You will be required to create effective business plans to generate more revenue, increase brand awareness and improve stakeholder satisfaction across our group.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and implement growth strategies and plans
  • Manage diversified teams
  • Take ownership of systems and reporting
  • Manage, develop and retain relationships with internal and external partners
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of our brand and value proposition
  • Negotiate with stakeholders
  • Identify business strengths and customer needs
  • Research new business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Achieve revenue goals and manage business costs
  • Follow industry trends locally and internationally
  • Report to leadership team on successes and areas needing improvements

Skills and experience

  • Qualifications in Business Management, Sales/Marketing, Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a business management/development capacity
  • Healthcare background not essential but highly regarded
  • High-level communication and negotiation skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with implementation of business development strategy
  • The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets
