Hamilton Island is nestled among the Whitsunday Islands and located at the edge of the world famous Great Barrier Reef. With more than 10 Ceremony Locations and 15 Reception Venue options, it's the idyllic tropical setting for any Wedding. We are seeking an organised, driven and customer service focused Senior Wedding Sales Executive to join our team.

About the Role

• Full time position, live on island
• First point of contact for all Weddings clients
• Manage all incoming leads and enquiries
• Prepare client itineraries and event orders, including securing any related reservations
• Conduct site inspections with clients
• Source products, services and suppliers as required
• Keep in line with client budgets, objectives and expectations
• Maintain efficient channels of communication between clients, vendors and internal departments

About You

• You have previous Wedding sales experience and a passion for sales
• Exceptionally organised, you pride yourself on your administration skills
• You are confident and passionate when dealing with clients, and build rapport with ease
• Whilst a team player, you are also self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously under pressure
• You possess great leadership skills
• You have advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
• Your hospitality experience has given you a sound knowledge of Food and Beverage operations
• You have an Open Driver Licence and a Queensland valid RSA
