The Reece People Experience team is about understanding what our people need, how they will consume products and services, the technology that they will use and the culture that they thrive in. We work with our senior leadership team and key stakeholders to ensure best practice and procedures are followed for Employee Relations, Recruitment, People Development as well as Health and Wellbeing in our workplace.


This role will primarily focus on Workday improvements and utilising Workday analytics to assist in generating and providing meaningful data for the People Experience team. You will have experience in developing reports, using data insights to support with ad hoc projects, undertake data cleansing, information and data insights gathering using technical tools such as MS Excel, SQL.


We are looking for someone who has a passion for people data & analysis but also someone who will provide support to the Workday Project Team, People Advisory and the Reece network for all change management activities. You should have exposure to building relationships quickly and working with different key stakeholders.

This role is currently based in Burwood however in 2020 we are due to relocate to our new state of the art facilities in Cremorne (Richmond).


Key responsibilities include;

  • Supporting data and analytical requirements for the People Experience team with a lens of ‘single source of truth’
  • Partnering with the Recruitment team to provide advice on getting the best reporting and analytics to drive commercial outcomes and track performance
  • Partnering with our ReeceTech Project Manager to determine the reporting strategy within People Experience
  • Identifying pain points from Network queries and workshopping solutions with Workday Tech Team, consulting the Workday Community where required
  • Support the People Advisory team with continuing to champion Workday
  • Work with Workday Tech team to identify and set weekly priorities for improvements based on business need
  • Facilitating training and coaching activities with key stakeholders
  • Facilitating “User Acceptance Testing” for updates to Workday with effected user groups
  • Assist and support ongoing updates to Workday (every six months) to build a culture where minimal support is needed for future updates
  • Assist with all Recruitment optimisation activities in Workday
  • Preparing Process Maps and supporting improvement opportunities to processes


What you’ll need:

  • Relevant knowledge and skills with experience with at least 3 years’ experience with HRIS Analyst experience will be viewed favourably.
  • To enjoy working in an inclusive, fast-paced, collaborative environment which values team culture.
  • Good communication and presentation skills - can relate to any level
  • Demonstrated sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence to use your initiative to problem solve.
