Terms and conditions vacancyThe Organisational Performance Advisor provides people management advice and solutions across a range of complex matters to support designated client group, region or business unit. The role contributes to the achievement of P&C strategy and partners with the business to deliver people management outcomes which lead to a high performing and engaged workforce.
This role works autonomously and as a member of a team as required, to deliver key projects and deliverables within deadlines and to a high quality. This role would be responsible for managing and planning own work and scope is available to exercise initiative in the application of established work procedures. This role would be expected to resolve problems and operational issues in the relevant work area and within established frameworks.
•Build and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders to provide advice and support on a range of people engagement and management issues and related matters to enhance the performance and engagement of their teams
•Identify new opportunities to contribute within the business and suggest improvements to current people management practices and/or approaches
•Undertake the delivery of People and Culture operational activities ensuring consistent standards, timelines and budgetary obligations are met
•Identify risks and potential consequences relating to HR case matters, consulting with relevant internal and external stakeholders, and provide accurate advice to senior leaders to mitigate the risk to Service NSW
•Understand, interpret and apply employment legislation, industrial instruments and policy to ensure compliance and mitigate risks to Service NSW and employees
•Lead and / or support the development and enhancement of People and Culture policies, guidelines and internal procedures
•Lead and / or support a range of People and Culture projects across the spectrum of employee lifecycle
•Lead and / or support resolution of all escalated payroll and related issues
•Tertiary qualifications in a HR/Business discipline.
•3 - 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a customer focused environment.
•Knowledge of relevant federal and state legislation, Public Service an advantage
•Sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management practices
