  • Shape the future of Talent Acquisition at Australia's oldest charity
  • Work life balance? No problem, hours, days & location can be negotiated
  • Join our close knit, high performing People, Learning & Culture team

We provide a range of community based support services for children, families, people with a disability and older Australians. We are a non-religious, not for profit organisation at the forefront of societal change for over 200 years.

This newly created role is part of a pilot to take our talent acquisition to the next level. Initially offered on a contract, as part of an exciting new service offering to the business. When we demonstrate the value, we can explore making it permanent.

You and the role:

Working collaboratively with Managers, you will understand the unique requirements of their clients and teams to build the value proposition of the opportunity. You love finding the needle in the haystack; the perfect candidate who hadn't considered making a move. You take a genuine interest in people; understand their drivers, what makes them an asset and honestly position our opportunity to them.

Having a blank slate to building talent pools and implementing strategies to keep candidates warm excites you. You have creative approaches, which are tried and tested, or you would love to try. You will partner with the Recruitment Specialist on larger recruitment campaigns and Manager, Talent on broader talent initiatives.

If location matters to you; our Sydney hubs are Glebe, Werrington, Hurstville, Liverpool and Chatswood. We'll consider regional applicants provided you have capacity to travel. Part time position (0.6 FTE) Hours/days can be negotiated.

What will you need to succeed?

You're a recruiter or expert networker at heart. You use pro-active talent acquisition, search methodologies or data mining techniques to find passive talent. Posting and praying is not enough for this role. Your capacity to quickly engage and build relationships is a key strength.

You can balance working remotely while staying connected to our awesome team (we're based across NSW & QLD), leveraging their relationships and expertise to make your life easier.

Experience in not for profit, healthcare or related sectors beneficially but not essential.
