The Sunglass Hut Human Resources Team is looking for a motivated HR Business Partner to join our #DreamTeam for 12 months.


This role partners closely with the Sunglass Hut Sales and Operations Team in supporting and driving Business initiatives through recruiting, on boarding and providing on-going development to our Staff through various HR Processes and initiatives. This role also supports other Support Office HR initiatives.


As an HR Business Partner, you would be responsible for, amongst others, but not limited to:

  • Driving our Company Culture and leading Talent and Recruitment Initiatives
  • Providing HR advice, coaching, mentoring, counselling and support to managers and employees as required
  • Partnering with Hiring Managers on recruitment of current vacancies
  • Management of our Recruitment Management System, Career Site, Corporate LinkedIN account and other online Recruitment Platforms
  • Performance Management and Development through administration of the Performance Framework, Appraisals and Investigation
  • Talent Management, Talent Calibration and Succession Planning  
  • Reporting, File Management, Invoice Processing and Data Management
  •  Employee and Industrial Relations  
  • Facilitation of Training Sessions
  • WHS Compliance through the provision of Luxottica LiveSafe
  • Driving retention through supporting rewards and recognition processes
  • Employee Wellness

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is passionate about people and HR. You must have at least 2 years’ HR Advisory and Recruitment experience. A relevant tertiary qualification is a must, while Retail experience is advantageous.


Passion, customer centricity, objectivity, conflict resolution, impartiality, analytical skills and legislative knowledge are essential to success in this role. You should be organised and be able to work independently, taking initiative when required but always remaining a Team Player.
