Outotec are currently seeking an experienced sourcing and recruitment specialist ( casual basis) to be based at our West Perth office.

We are looking for someone with fresh ideas in terms of ways of recruiting and sourcing the best candidates for our customers.

This role will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Effectively manage the recruitment process including candidate sourcing and screening, database management, process management, reporting and meeting of targets.
• Source and maintaining suitable candidate pool to fill vacancies in defined turnaround.
• Records management to track and report on candidates placed by lodging vacancies and placements on the Axiom database.
• Conduct interviews, registrations, references and inductions for potential employees to ensure that candidates are ‘work ready’.
• Ensure that employees are fully aware of all HSE responsibilities in the workplace and promote safety awareness at every opportunity.
• Interaction with team to maximise opportunities for Outotec clients to apply for suitable vacancies.
• Liaise with recruitment, administration, Project Managers and Business Development Officers regarding defined details for positions and ensure that the correct placement is made for the vacancy.
• Arrange ‘Fit for Work’ testing eg; medicals, drug and alcohol tests as required
• Arrange training courses when required
• Provide employees where required with appropriate PPE and follow purchasing protocols for this supply.
• Prepare letter of offer for each employee for each assignment to clarify pay and employment conditions.
• Ensure data entry in systems is kept up to date to track employers/employee assignments Axiom.
• Feedback from employers to ensure that the correct selection has been made for the vacancy, report back and recorded on Axiom with ‘Personnel Assessments’
• Ensuring meeting/phone call discussions are entered onto Axiom.
• Ensure timely supply of employee payroll details to administration for processing
• Participation in office housekeeping requirements and meetings to maintain a professional working environment.

This role is best suited to those who are self-motivated, proactive with a positive attitude, where no task is too big or small. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Demonstrated experience in a recruitment and sourcing role especially with regard to interviewing, candidate selection, and filling vacancies and on the job management of field employees.
• Proven track record in providing excellent customer service with ability to problem solve and react efficiently
• Demonstrated high level computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications email and database systems.
