About the job…

You’re responsible for partnering with key stakeholders and delivering both operational and strategic HR solutions.  This job comes about during an important time at Club Assist and will play a key role in ensuring the success of the New South Wales operations as the business transitions to new operating models.  Key stakeholders will strike you as pragmatic and down to earth, while at the same time professional and motivated to deliver exceptional results.

We want you to:

  • Take ownership of and lead recruitment initiatives
  • Help manage key relationships between Club Assist and external organisations
  • Develop integrated recruitment, onboarding, induction and training programs
  • Coach, support and develop leaders and managers in building and enhancing a culture in line with our values
  • Bring a strong safety mindset to work every day, and work in collaboration with our Health & Safety experts to deliver local solutions to drive good Health & Safety outcomes
  • Help our managers and staff manage an effective return to work process for injured employees
  • Coordinate the implementation of the performance review process for your key stakeholders
  • Be a subject matter expert, and coach/mentor for key stakeholders on employee relations matters
  • Implement company wide strategic initiatives in a way that provides local relevance and delivers intended outcomes

You must have:

  • Strong business acumen, and the ability to translate business needs to people initiatives
  • Some relevant formal education, not for the piece of paper but rather to show that you are capable of learning and understanding new concepts
  • Sound understanding of applicable laws and regulations
  • Strong self-awareness and emotional intelligence
