Urgently seeking a HR Generalist for a 8-9 month Fixed Term Contract for a Global Oil & Gas Service Provider.
Client Details
Our client is a Global Oil & Gas Service Provider urgently seeking a HR Generalist for a 8-9 month FTC. This role will be based in the Northern Territory on a FIFO or Residential basis.
Description
Reporting into the CEO roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate demobilisation process including departmental approvals, coordination of information, facilitation of employee discussions with manager, and provide ongoing support throughout the process.
- Provide HR advice and guidance to all personnel
- Provide assistance in undertaking succession planning activities to support the retention/redeployment of key employees.
- Undertake employee investigations, grievance resolution, performance management, disciplinary and separation processes for project personnel when required.
- Provide advice, coaching and support to managers/leaders to improve people management capability.
- Contribute to the agreed service model and metrics for HR performance ensuring alignment of HR processes and policy across the project.
- Contribute to identification of issues that may have an impact on the operations and recommend appropriate action.
- Actively participate as a member of the HR Business Partnering team and attend relevant meetings.
- Complete the administrative tasks of on-boarding and demobilisation of employees.
- Monitor the organisation's culture so that it supports the attainment of goals and promotes employee satisfaction.
- Provide support with the end to end recruitment process, including talent acquisition, interviews and pre-employment checks as per project requirements
- Other adhoc duties as assigned.
Profile
The Successful candidate must have a degree/qualification in HR or equivalent and have the following experience:
- Change Management Experience
- Experience in a JV (not essential but preferable)
- Industrial Relations experience
- Heavy industry Experience
Candidates must be able to work a 58 hour week Monday - Saturday on site.
Job Offer
- Immediate Start (however will also wait a notice period)
- $120,000 - $140,000 + Superannuation + $4,000 site allowance
- Full flights and accommodation covered
- Contract until March 2019
- Relocation of Family members can also be covered
