The HR Advisor will contribute to overall business performance through the provision of operational and administrative support to the assigned client group as well as participating in the implementation of HR initiatives that help to achieve the business vision, strategy and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with position description grading and finalisation
- Preparation of employment requisitions and placement of advertisements
- Management of candidate applications via Rcareers
- Prepare and conduct interviews on candidates
- Background checking of candidates
- Preparation of Offer Letters
- Assist with induction and assimilation process
- Assist with probationary period process and documentation
- Maintenance of personnel files and employee terminations
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar administrative Human Resources support related role
- Previous experience in working with sensitive and confidential material
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of timely and business focused Human Resources/Administration services
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance
