  • Full-time fixed term contract role to cover IT project resourcing activity
  • Use your expertise in direct sourcing IT roles in a high volume environment
  • Based in the heart of Sydney's CBD with some travel to our St Leonards office

The Talent Acquisition team play a key role in partnering with Hiring Managers in achieving their business and people objectives. This is an exciting time for us as we continually look for ways to improve the way we partner with the business and as we roll out new initiatives to improve to the overall employment experience.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operational and strategic management of the talent acquisition activity for a number of HCF business areas. You will deliver a high quality talent acquisition service utilising best practice processes and methodologies to source high quality candidates for HCF within our direct recruitment model. Your responsibilities and objectives will include:

  • Partner closely with the HR Business Partners and Business Line Managers.
  • Ensure talent acquisition service delivery meets HCF’s business needs, is timely and cost effective.
  • Manage the end to end talent acquisition process including sourcing, assessment and selection, background checking, placement and on-boarding.
  • Manage a portfolio of talent acquisition assignments for a diverse client group.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of processes.
  • Ensure applicant tracking / talent pipeline systems are up to date and provide reporting on recruitment activity.
  • Review HCF’s candidate experience ensuring a positive experience for all applicants interested in working for HCF.
  • Provide new line managers with coaching and training on HCF recruitment approach, systems and processes
  • Participate in ad hoc project work

About you

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience within an internal talent acquisition function at a Consultant level recruiting permanent, contract and temporary IT, PMO and Strategy project roles.
  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of behavioural based interviewing techniques, writing job advertisements, conducting reference checks and supporting on-boarding activity.
  • Demonstrated experience using and preparing reporting on an applicant tracking system.
  • Previous experience with developing talent pipelines through multiple channels (job boards, social media, careers campaigns and search).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, and strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Love working in a close knit team environment
  • Previous experience with innovative sourcing techniques will be looked upon favourably
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
