ABOUT THE ROLE

Our People & Development team now has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our Melbourne team. Reporting through to the National People & Development Manager, this person will manage the Graduate Recruitment function nationally to ensure the best seasonal clerks and graduates are attracted to the firm.

Key responsibilities for the role will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage the graduate and seasonal clerk recruitment and programs
  • Manage and coordinate applications, shortlisting, offer and rotation placement processes
  • Plan and liaise with Recruitment Partners and committees
  • Review applications
  • Select candidates for interview
  • Prepare for selection meetings, preparation of statistics and report
  • Development and coordinate seasonal clerk and graduate induction programs
  • Organise seasonal clerk/ graduate functions
  • L&D program planning and implementation
  • Attend university careers and clerkship fairs and coordinate the firm’s stand and promotional material
  • Engage with external educational institutions and the various law societies
  • Control costs of seasonal clerk and graduate budget

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • 1- 2 years' experience in a graduate recruitment role
  • Experience working in a professional services environment (preferable legal sector)
  • High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office
