Description
Reporting to Regional HR Director, you will provide support on HR related matters for Australia and New Zealand offices with the focus on Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment & Talent Selection and HR Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment for both corporate office and retail stores with the hiring managers for Australia and New Zealand
- Management of candidate sourcing, screening & selection, psychometric testing, referencing, salary negotiation and offers of employment
- Management of Workday system, provide Workday training and support to business managers, while taking the lead on Workday new project implementation
- Manage staff on-boarding and off-boarding process
- Conduct new staff orientation/exit interview
- End to end payroll management, processing and reconciliation for Australia. Monthly and weekly payroll (ADP & HR3)
- Statutory compliance including payroll tax, workers compensation, PAYG, superannuation etc
- Monitor and implement legislative changes for payroll e.g. ARA awards, rate and tax changes
- Reporting and liaising with local authorities - WGEA, Centerlink, WorkCover, ACC, ATO, OSR
- Conduct salary and benefit benchmarking for Australia and New Zealand
Profile
- Tertiary Qualifications in HR or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years ANZ HR experience
- Thorough understanding of Employment Laws and related legislation in Australia/NZ
- HR knowledge in pay-related/compensation and benefits practice and process
- Knowledge in payroll systems, preferably ADP and HR3
- Good HCM/HRIS concept, experience in Workday is preferred
- Previous recruitment experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
- Strong inter-personal communication skills both verbal and written
- Embrace collaboration and teamwork
- Self-driven with initiatives to challenge status quo to improve efficiency and provide better employee experience
