Joining us as National Program Manager - People Transformation, you will program manage the people elements of the Transformation and Innovation (T&I) program of work nationally.  Boral’s Transformation & Innovation program encompasses a number of key projects that aim to enhance and promote our Customer Experience, Commercial standing and Supply Chain Operation.

Supporting the Head of People Transformation and Innovation, your key purpose will be to ensure all people-centric elements, including of these programs, reach the desired outcomes of the Transformation & Innovation change across Boral Australia.

Program management encompasses the change management, communication, governance and ownership with people across the organisation to embed the change and adopt the new way of meeting customer needs.

Success will hinge on your ability to partner, build relationships, coach and role model growth mindset, demonstrating people and leadership values, influence and drive the change agenda to ensure the future state is achieved and meets organisational objectives.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Leading Subject Matter Expert (SME) focus groups for an exciting range of People initiatives that have been identified to drive value to the business and apply the required governance to deliver accelerated process change and implementation for prioritised initiatives.
  • Support the Head of People T&I with executing the people & change agenda of Boral Australia’s multi-faceted Transformation and Innovation programs.
  • Partner with key program leads to define projects and strategies tailored to organisation people transformation agenda is being delivered.
  • Strong analytical background to work through complex problems and future of work.
  • Actively build leadership and engagement of the Transformation and Innovation programs.
  • Preferred experience in supply chain transformation programs.
  • Focus on building Boral’s people capability for today and capacity for the future.
  • Implement and manage appropriate governance frameworks and reporting requirements to meet Transformation change requirements through program initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key SME’s to ensure the programs are being owned and managed in the business.
  • Create and deliver effective change management strategies related to specific programs.
  • Develop future change initiatives and set milestones/goals and deliver outcomes that engage and partner with people.

Key skills and experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
  • 10 years + Human Resource Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in Change/Project Management.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise complex competing deadlines.
  • High standard of customer focus and the capacity to understand and apply a commercial focus.
  • Agile program delivery, with a sharp customer focus.
