Detail information about job Recruitment Specialist. Terms and conditions vacancy

  • Newly created position as we centralise recruitment
  • Help us shape the future of Talent Acquisition at Australia's oldest charity
  • Join our close knit, high performing People, Learning & Culture team

We provide a range of community based support services for children, families, people with a disability and older Australians. We are a non-religious, not for profit organisation at the forefront of societal change for over 200 years.

This newly created role is part of a pilot to take our talent acquisition to the next level. Initially offered on a contract, as part of an exciting new service offering to the business. When we demonstrate the value, we can explore making it permanent.

You and the role:

Day to day you will balance supporting managers adapt to our new centralised recruitment model, creating a great candidate experience and recruiting open vacancies (sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing etc). You will be comfortable working through the ambiguity of this change recognising some people may need more support to adapt.

You will be keen to support projects, new talent initiatives and our amazing team (new Talent Relationships Partner, Talent Manager and HR Business Partners).

This is the perfect opportunity for an Agency Recruiter, Candidate Manager or Resourcer to move in-house; or Recruitment Coordinator or Advisor who wants to step up.

If location matters to you, our Sydney hubs are Glebe, Werrington, Hurstville, Liverpool and Chatswood. We'll consider regional applicants provided you have capacity to travel.

What you need to succeed?

With experience in a fast paced recruitment role, you know how to balance the competing demands. You tell the story of the role and leverage social media to engage the best talent. While coaching managers might be new for you, you've got the basics covered by knowing how to communicate clearly and respectfully.

You can balance working remotely while staying connected to our awesome team (we're based across NSW & QLD), leveraging their relationships and expertise to make your life easier.

Experience in not for profit, healthcare or related sectors beneficially but not essential.
