The Role
BKI is seeking an experienced and passionate HR Business Partner to join their team.
This "hands-on" position will effectively partner with BKI managers to provide strategic & tactical HR advice and guidance to the business, enabling them to meet their business objectives.
Working in a team of experienced HR Business Partners, this position will be responsible for:
*Partnering with Leaders to drive cultural change
*Implementing people strategies that attract, develop and retain talent
*Coaching and advising leaders on tactical industrial relations issues including union activity and enterprise agreements,
*Creating and maintaining positive working relationships between Managers and Employees and to ensure that Managers effectively and independently follow BKI's Policies and Procedures in dealing with matters that might arise
*Providing coaching and guidance to managers on HR related matters
*Providing support with performance counselling and disciplinary matters
*Working closely with the broader HR and Organisational Capability team within BKI to ensure achievement of our organisation strategy.

You will have:
*Tertiary qualifications, preferably in a HR related area
*5+ years' experience in Human Resources with at least two years working in a dedicated Business Partner role
*Proven experience and knowledge in effective people management practices, including performance management, complaint handling, training and coaching.
*Experience in interacting and partnering with middle to senior level management to achieve defined business objectives.
*Understanding of employee relations processes and activities.
*The ability to handle multiple deadlines and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
*A strong and demonstrated ability to interpret and advise on Awards and Agreements
*Previous experience within the Vocational Education Sector is desirable
