A newly created position reporting to the Group HR Director, this role will be fundamental in achieving consistency of practice across the many diverse regions in which the company operates.    Requiring strategic thinking combined with HR project management and operational expertise, the role will bring together data, systems and processes to enable valuable insights, initiatives and decisions to move faster in an evolving competitive environment.  The programs of work are broad ranging and whilst initial priorities will focus on technology and reporting, they will include all HR operations from policies through to service delivery.   Transformation of the function is a key element and as such you will facilitate the mapping of employee experience to ensure it links to both the local and global HR strategy. Additionally, the role will closely support the Group HR Director on a range of activities akin to a Chief of Staff ie. board reporting, collating regional HR data, HR budget management and HR leadership forums.  

This is a critical appointment and as such, prospective candidates will need to demonstrate an outstanding track record in managing multi-disciplinary HR projects.   Your pathway to date may be varied and will have  included time spent in HR Shared Services, HR Consulting, HR Business Partnering and/or specific change projects. Either way you will need to offer the following to be a serious contender: 
  • Experience in the identification & implementation of an HR system across multiple geographies.
  • Ability to build project teams where need be and act as an individual contributor regularly
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies across diverse cultures and regions
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with HR peers
  • Prior experience working across a number of HR streams 
Your ability to straddle the strategic through to analytical is critical and your presence, highly developed communication skills and agility, paramount.  This is a unique role and as such we are inviting candidates who can offer prior experience (as outlined above) to make contact.   Given the global operations, some travel will be required.
