About the Role 
Reporting to the Group HSE Manager, this role is a generalist HSE leadership role focussing on supporting four facilities (Melbourne Western surburbs and 3 interstate) to embed ownership and accountability for HSE across the business.

Critical success factors and responsibilities include:
  • Developing and facilitating the implementation of national strategies for the division and a program for effective management of HSE
  • Coaching, mentoring and supporting site and regional managers
  • Maintenance of the safety management systems and drive continuous improvements
  • Designing, coordinating and delivering training
  • Providing technical advice in regards to investigations, audits and risk management
About You  
To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS or related subject
  • Depth of experience preferably within a manufacturing/production based workforce
  • Experience in embedding effective HSE management systems, with knowledge of contemporary HSE concepts and risk management principles
  • The ability to think outside the box and work autonomously to proactively identify risks and provide solutions
  • Excellent communication, administrative and time management skills
  • Flexibility to travel monthly
