About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition this newly created position will be responsible for supporting the business in all aspects of recruitment and talent acquisition activity. This includes overseeing and managing recruitment across the business, HRIS administration, providing tactical support to leaders when they recruit as well as process improvement activities.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Facilitating the sourcing of quality employees for the business across multiple channels using best practice methods eg Advertising, Candidate Research, Referrals, Vendor Partnership
  • Managing the end to end process of recruitment across the business including briefings, candidate screening, interviews/scheduling, psychometric testing and reference checks ensuring a high level of candidate care
  • Ensuring interview guide library and candidate screening forms are kept up to date and provided to hiring managers as needed
  • Maintaining relationships with external recruitment providers
  • In conjunction with the HR Business Partner's and hiring managers, ensuring all position descriptions are consistent and accurately depict the positions being recruited
  • Monitoring & ensuring agency compliance with terms of business to drive cost minimisation
  • Working with the HR team to plan for recruitment peaks and providing required administrative support
  • Owning the external First State Super brand from a recruitment perspective including content management on social media channels
  • End to end management of all recruitment activity in the HRIS, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
  • Reviewing and improving all recruitment process supporting documentation to ensure it is accurate and reflective of current processes
  • Seamless integration and handover to the HR Operations team for on-boarding and employment contracts

About You

You will be a proactive, organised & confident individual with strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders you can multi-task & prioritise work items to maximise your time whilst also delivering an exceptional experience to both internal stakeholders & candidates. Looking to specialise in a Talent Acquisition role, you should have a previous TA background within a medium to large corporate organisation.

Specifically you should be able to demonstrate experience relating to :-

  • Previous experience of internal recruitment
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people
  • Ability to multi task and manage multiple roles at any given time
  • Ability to travel interstate (NSW predominantly) on a minimal ad-hoc basis
