ABOUT HUDSON

We are currently recruiting a Return to Work Specialist for a short term contract with an immediate start but make an impression and there may be an opportunity for an ongoing contract.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and investigate Return to work applications
- Carry out risk analysis
- Liaise with Work cover and key stakeholders including treating parties, insurers and employers whilst writing IME briefs and reviewing data.
- Make recommendations on a case by case basis
- Work closely with employees to assist them in their return to the workplace
- Ensure all Occupational health and safety requirements are met
- Assist in complex injury management cases
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Demonstrated Government experience in a similar role at a senior level (AO6+ desirable)
- Occupational Health and Safety experience
- Extensive experience in Workcover Claims
- Extensive injury management experience and have confidence in a rehabilitation setting
- Ability to self-manage and display self-motivation
- Ability to the hit the ground running
- A degree in Occupational Therapy or Physio therapy will be highly desirable.
