Bradken is a leading global manufacturer of innovative, custom engineered products for the mining, transport, contract manufacturing and general industrial markets. It operates a global network of manufacturing, sales and service facilities employing about 3,000 people.

The HR Business Partner will be based at our Wodonga facility and will report to the Head of HR Operations. This role will provide operational HR support to Bradken’s Wodonga manufacturing sites, consisting of about 190 employees.

This role will be responsible and accountable for day to day HR functions at a site level by providing leadership and guidance in the areas of:

  • Performance management
  • Training & development
  • Employee engagement & welfare
  • Recruitment & selection
  • Communication
  • HR reporting
  • Industrial relations.

As part of the People & Communications team your work will also involve collaborating with a well-regarded team to contribute to the development and implementation of national and global HR policies and programs.

In addition to having worked within an engineering or manufacturing environment and having strong industrial relations experience, you will be need to be able to demonstrate experience in each of the following selection criteria:

  • Minimum of three years' experience operating as an HR Business Partner in an industrial/unionised business environment
  • Excellent communication & relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical & strategic thinking skills
  • Exposure to a variety of projects / initiatives across a range of HR disciplines
